Each civil process server is authorized to serve Court process pursuant to the TX Government Code, TX Rules of Civil Procedure, & TX Civil Practice & Remedies Code. Each process server in the Dallas, Tarrant, Parker, Kaufman, Harris, Galveston, Midland, Odessa, & Van Zandt Counties of Texas are certified by the Judicial Branch Certification Commission under authority of the Texas Supreme Court. Service of process for an inmate in a Texas State prison is pursuant Chapter 17 of the TCPRC.
